Objectives
- To give permanent impetus to studies, research and positive actions pertaining to the theme of gender cultures and thus contribute to the growth and dissemination of respect for women’s dignity and skills.
- To promote, develop and coordinate research programmes; encourage the exchange of information between male and female researchers, also in the framework of collaborations with other universities and national and international research bodies; collaborate with public and private entities not adhering to the Centre, on the basis of special agreements and/or through dissemination initiatives, study days, seminars; stimulate interdisciplinary collaborative initiatives; offer support to teaching on the subject, promote public debate, give impetus to editorial initiatives and publications on the subject; disseminate knowledge on these issues, through the creation of training courses, seminars, conferences.
